Spinning reels from Daiwa and Abu Garcia. Every one here is a freshwater reel and labelled as such, none of these manufacturers publishes a saltwater rating or a sealed-bearing claim for these models, and we don't make claims they don't. A surf reel we'd actually stand behind is still on the list.
Every reel we sell on its own is rated by its manufacturer for freshwater only, none of them publish a saltwater rating, and we won't invent one. If you're building a surf or jetty setup, these are not the reels for it. The saltwater reels we can get come matched to a rod, in the Daiwa D-Wave combos.
