The old saltwater shape, forged and tinned

Best bought alongside something else. Small, light items like this cost nearly as much to ship as they do to make. Add it to a rod or lure order and it rides along in the same box, which is why the free-shipping threshold is $75.
The O'Shaughnessy has been the standard saltwater bait hook for over a century, and the reason is the forged bend: it opens up far later than a wire hook under the same load. Duratin coating handles salt better than plain bronze. Use it where you want a hook you strike rather than one that sets itself.
Why this one
- ▸Forged bend, which resists opening under load
- ▸Duratin coating for salt
- ▸A striking hook, not a circle
- ▸Five per pack
